Urgent horse help? Plz look?

I have a show in two hours, it’s called an iea show. IEA stands for Interscholastic Equestrian Association. It is an equation ride. you draw a horse out of a bucket and you get to canter 1 lap and trot 1 lap and jump two jumps, then you go into the ring for the jumping round. After your jumping round you get on your flat horse, you get no practice on him/her. Then you have 5 shows to get 15 points in each division.5then you go to Zones and if you get a first or a second there you go to nationals. Any tips for me? I have 14 points on flat and 8 in jumping and today is the 4th show.

All i can really suggest is that you take all safety precautions, helmet body protector etc. you dont know the horses personalities.

sit deep in the saddle, heels down etc. the usual. and try not to get too nervous since the horses will sense it, if they are nervous they will look to you for reassurance so go in with a confident but NOT complacent frame of mind. Try talking to them as well you might sound a bit funny but even that will help you “introduce” yourself to it.

good luck! and if it all does wrong don’t worry its only a show and there will always be another chance!
