"Milkyway"

Milkyway is an exciting addition to our herd, she comes from Black Mesa Ranch, a working certified dairy and maker of Artisan Cheeses, located in Snowflake, Arizona. She is a beautiful doeling and her bloodlines carry quite the udder to boot. Kathryn from Black Mesa contacted me one day, after we had been discussing the pickup of Milkyway's paternal half sister, Rosie. She said that she was for sale and that if I wanted her I could buy her. I was so excited. She is the very first moon-spotted goat in our herd and I am very interested in seeing how these spots will make their mark on goat coats to come.
However, she was not just bought for her colors, her bloodlines are extremely powerful including both beautiful show goats and wonderful milk producers. Her dam, Witch Hazel Magic Alchemy, Kimmy, comes from the Witch Hazel Herd, out their gorgeous herd queen, SG M's Sagebrush Zap Serina. Her sire, Boeshane, was selected by the ADGA for the Sire Development Program, like our buck, Timmy. Additionally, her lines include Six-M-Galaxy, a mighty milk producing herd in its day, as well as Wingwood Farms, Reuel, & Ladies-Blue.
I believe Milkyway is going to add milk, body, and color pizzazz to our herd and I can't wait!
